Fantastic Soup!! I did add 1/2 cup mashed potato for body (I had some left over) The rest I made exactly the same, Used “better than Bouillion” for chicken broth…Fantastic!! Thanks for a wonderful recipe, I love ALL of your recipes!!

This is the best soup recipe! Minced my garlic with a little Lemmon zest and parsley. I added a half of cup of wine before the broth, used an Italian roasted chicken from the grocery store (added a tad juice from it) and added spinach! It was a big hit!

Yes, I can see how more lemon juice at the end would be desired by some.:) And yes your orzo soup was more brothy because you cooked pasta separately. Maybe cook more orzo next time, to add more to each bowl. You can always thicken the soup with a roux as well. Glad you enjoyed the recipe!

This was very good. I used bouillon cubes and the chicken base suggested to make the broth. I also used Olena’s recipe for Italian spice/seasoning. The next time I make it, I will double the lemon juice to enhance that flavor. Mine came out more brothy than I would have liked, it may be due to the fact that I cooked my orzo separately to add to each bowl. I knew we wouldn’t eat it all in one sitting, so I didn’t want the orzo to expand and get mushy over time. Chicken was perfectly cooked after 15 min. I will make this one again.

I made this soup in my electric pressure cooker and it tasted sooo good! I added a bit of cream and it was delicious, the flavoring was out of the world and the texture was on point. Thank you so much for such an easy and tasty meal!!

15 plus 10 minutes for pasta, another 5 minutes here and there while you season. Half an hour is enough for chicken breasts to be shredded. Chicken breasts cook fast and can become rubbery when overcooked. Never had an issue but you can cook your broth for an hour if you want.

I usually cook mine for at least an hour or more to get it like that.
