This roast was wonderful.
Haven’t cooked one for awhile (reducing red meat consumption), but wanted a surprise for hubby (Sirloin connoseiur) and HAD to have a great recipe. THIS is it!! Thx so much.

In reply to Ana. I’m glad you guys enjoyed this roast! Of course this recipe is gluten-free. Most Worcestershire sauce brands are gluten-free and tamari or liquid aminos are used by celiacs instead of soy sauce. We mention it in the ingredients list and those who need it have gluten free products on hand anyways. It is so easy to find anything gluten-free these days, if you have to.

This recipe is delicious. My husband says it’s the best roast he’s ever had!
My only issue is that it is NOT GLUTEN FREE, and it should not be marketed as such.

In reply to Victor. Since we are slow cooking it, I am pretty sure you can. Just cook it on low heat and not high, so it breaks down and softens better.

I made this last night and the vinegar was over powering. I might try this recipe again because it was very simple but I’ll reduce the vinegar to one tablespoon.

In reply to Jen. No I just cooked the roast with roast spices and onion etc. Vegetables will overcook, I mean potatoes and carrots.
