Love this recipe! I ended up subbing 1/2 cup of the flour with ground flax and canberries for raspberries (couldn’t find fresh ones!) and they turned out GREAT! Thank you for this recipe, will definitely make it again!

You could try and I think it would be okay, but I do worry that the dry ingredients to wet ingredients ratio might be off then. If you find that your batter is dry, try a liquid sugar free syrup for the other 1/4 cup.
